For Community Care, 2006 was a building year, when we laid the groundwork and extended infrastructure – all in support of an anticipated major expansion of services. In the past we have consistently maintained an average growth rate of 19%. In 2007, we expect a leap to a growth rate of 60%.
- Purchased a 95,000-square-foot facility in the heart of Milwaukee, making it possible to provide services in that critical area
- Awarded a $100,000 grant by the State of Wisconsin to lead a public-private partnership for expanded managed long-term care services in Waukesha, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Racine and Washington counties
- Selected by the State of Wisconsin to develop and implement managed long-term care services in Racine and Kenosha for people who have spent years on waiting lists and to help achieve Wisconsin’s goal of reducing nursing home use by 2.5%
- Began expanding our provider network in Racine and Kenosha
- Celebrated our 30th anniversary of providing high-quality long-term care services
