Human Resources Assistant

Summary: Performs human resources administrative support duties as assigned including, but not limited to, payroll support, HRIS maintenance, employment support, and benefits support.  Also serves as a resource for employees seeking general human resources information.

Qualifications: This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of two years experience in an administrative support role that includes one to two years of support to a human resources or payroll department, or a bachelor’s degree in human resources. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet or database applications, a high degree of accuracy and a keen eye for detail, along with excellent customer service and organizational skills are also necessary.
