Responsible for submission of member enrollment/disenrollment information to the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) per established standards and timelines. Calculates and records expected revenue, and resolves any discrepancy between calculated/recorded premium and payment received. Invoices and collects member cost shares and co-payments. Manages program participants’ trust accounts.
A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of bookkeeping or billing related work experience required. Associate’s Degree in Accounting and experience in a health insurance setting strongly preferred.
