Summary: The Residential Specialist is responsible for developing a full understanding of the Residential Provider Network and the needs of members so that timely assistance can be provided to Teams in finding the best placement for members based on member outcomes, quality of care, member satisfaction and cost effectiveness.  Assists in identifying gaps in the Network and provides consultation to Network Administrators to ensure that member residential needs are met with high quality, cost effective programs.  Assists the Administrator of Provider Quality in ensuring that Network Providers are in compliance with all regulatory and agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, nursing or a related field and a minimum of five year’s experience in the case management of individuals with developmental disabilities served by residential programs or in the management of residential programs that serve adults with developmental disabilities .
